How do I participate in prediction markets?

You can participate in predictions by following these steps:

• Prepare Funds: Prepare USDC on the Base network.

• Explore and Select Predictions: Browse and choose live predictions on topics that interest you.

• Place Predictions and Trade: For each question, select a position (such as YES or NO) and submit your prediction for the desired outcome.

• Check Results and Settlement: Once the prediction ends, you can view the results in the Portfolio section at the top of the page.

How to Create a Prediction

• When creating a prediction, the channel owner must set a security bond.

• If the channel owner provides an incorrect outcome, part or all of the bond may be slashed (forfeited). However, if the prediction ends with a properly verified and correct outcome, the full bond will be returned to the channel owner.

What is the Role of a Channel Owner?

• The Channel Owner is responsible for handling all matters within the channel, including creating and managing predictions.

• The Channel owner confirms the initial results of predictions they create within the channel.

How to Dispute Prediction Results

• Any user can raise a dispute after the channel owner has confirmed the result, as long as the prediction is in “Disputable” status.
